Refreshing to see a politician who can recognize the writing on the wall and just get out of the race before wasting peoples' time & money. (although, a teeny bit of skepticism in me wonders what scandal is about to break! )
Pawlenty is a nice enough guy, and as far as I've read/heard a good governor, but I didn't think he had enough passion for the Presidential race.
I want a president that has governed, a chief executive not another congress critter or senator that has never had to worry about balancing a budget. You see where style over substance has gotten us in the past 3 years.
Everyone knows the real problem is on Capital Hill anyway. A divided house and senate beholden to their respective parties as opposed to the people that they are supposed to represent.
