The Thomas Johnson Bridge will be one lane traffic between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on August 24th. The bridge will be getting inspected for any damage. Expect delays during this time.

A guy in Food Lion today told me he saw a big
chunk of concrete fall off one of the supports
while he was out fishing on his boat. Said it
was fairly good sized, about the size of a cinder
block or big rock.

He said you could actually feel some vibration
through the water while out in the boat! WOW!

Oh well, State Roads will throw a patch in it and
it will be OK again...

Crews will alternate traffic on one lane with a flagging operation 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. Motorists should allow extra time for traffic delays crossing the bridge during this time.

it wasn't one lane yesterday plus SOMD online just posted that update to facebook. they meant 3:01 today

I came across from Calvert at about 2:30 or so this afternoon, it was already backed up to 235 and as far as I could see towards the base....good luck with that......
