The SCOOP contains news, special events, and trips especially for seniors. This November issue features special Thanksgiving events scheduled for Thursday, November 17, at most of the four senior centers. There will be music, entertainment, games, and a wonderful luncheon.
Also featured this month is a Diabetic Seminar at the Clark Senior Center on Thursday, November 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Did you know that Maryland has one of the highest rates of diabetes? This seminar is geared towards persons with the disease, family, caregivers, and individuals requiring information about the disease. A diabetic-friendly lunch and snacks will be served. Preregistration is required.
