Heck, I thought West Virginia was too much of a rural state for lesbianism to have taken a foothold; now two middleaged women want to tie the knot there, but so far the state Supreme Court is saying no.....

Hey Penn, they're everywhere and you can find them in rural, suburban, and urban areas.

But you did stir up the old noodle. I remember the first time I saw the movie, "My Fellow Americans" (starring James Garner and Jack Lemmon) where they used a Gay Rights parade in West Virginia to get away from the agents chasing them. My thought at the time (1996 - 1997) was that they had to import them in to have as many as what were in the parade. I guess that might not have been the case.
