The annual Charles County Public Schools Science Fair is March 2-3 at La Plata High School. Student participants can drop off their projects on March 2, and judging begins at 9 a.m. on March 3. An awards ceremony will be held March 3 at 5 p.m. Before participating at the county science fair, students must first compete within the science fairs hosted by their individual schools.

Henry E. Lackey High School’s science fair is Friday, Jan. 20. The fair is open to the public after 2:30 p.m. Jan. 20.

La Plata High School’s science fair is Jan. 26-27. Projects are judged by scientists within the community on Thursday, Jan. 26. The fair is open to the public on Jan. 27, from 3 to 7 p.m.

Maurice J. McDonough High School’s science fair is Monday, Jan. 23. Projects and awards can be viewed on Jan. 24 from 3:30 to 7 p.m.

North Point High School’s science fair is also on Monday, Jan. 23 and is open to the public on Jan. 25, during after-school hours. North Point dismisses for the day at 2:50 p.m.

Thomas Stone High School’s science fair is Jan. 24. Judging will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 24. Projects and awards will be on display through Jan. 26.

Westlake High School’s science fair is Wednesday, Jan. 25. Projects will be on display until Jan. 27.
