No assault rifle used in Newtown.

This continues to be a very complex investigation and there is a lot of contradictory information out there, but we have some new information this morning (one month ago) from a couple of federal officials and state officials.

They say now that there were actually four handguns inside the school, not just two as we were initially told. Four handguns and apparently only handguns that were taken into the school.

We knew that Adam Lanza, the man said to be the gunman here, also had an ‘assault-style’ AR-15 -style rifle that he had had taken to the school, it was in the car he drove there, his mother’s car, but we have been told by several officials that he had left that in the car.

The two pistols were found inside the school and a .223-caliber Bushmaster rifle was found in the back of his mother's car in the parking lot.

So he used heavy duty weapons. This is irresponsible journalism at it's best. They said he used them, but then state it was found in the back of his mothers car. So why all the bans on assault weapons? Why all the BS about AR-15's. Just another chance for them to reinstitute their weapons ban. Obama and more lies.

The gun the video I saw of the police pulling out of the trunk of a car was a Saiga 12 shotgun.

Right now we don't know for sure what was used in the school. The Coroner said a rifle, other reports contradict that and say only handguns. We will have to wait for the release of the information after the inverstigation I imagine.

Nut sure where whoever wrote that article found their information, but you have to be one bad mofo to shoot 5 rounds per second out of a semi-auto pistol.
