My sister got the shot and is in bed.

I keep sleeping and woke up hearing this song.

Been lucky, never got the shot, never had the flu. Haven't even had a cold since winter '08.

My Mom yelled at me yesterday for not getting the shot.

I get yelled at all the time for not getting one, was told by an employer once that if I didn't get the shot and got the flu and had to take off, I'd be let go. It didn't happen.

I remember back in the days when the Navy would hand you a check every payday. In flu season they would put the corpsmen (pronounced core-men, Mr. President) in front of the pay line, so you had to get the shot before the check. The shot always made me sick as a dog for a couple days, so I finally wised up developed a sever allergy to poultry once a year, just for a day. Never had another flu shot, never had the flu.
