I can understand buying ammo but hollow points are outlawed by the Geneva convention for use by military

only in instances of war
The Geneva Convention does not cover the use of hollow points against the citizens of its own country. I see no foul here.

during the Iraq War the U.S. military used 70 million rounds of ammunition per year. Compare that with the 750 million rounds of hollow point bullets that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) ordered in March.

Interesting.
In 2012 there were
47 million registered republicans
32 million registered independents

total of 79 million not socialist..
figure they had a few round laying around, and then figure in a miss percentage that requires an additional shot..

Saw the RFQ that DHS recently put out, requesting bids to supply 6000 or so "personal defense rifles" for use by various DHS employees.

Interesting part is that the rifles are required to be select-fire weapons.

For "personal defense".

So how come the version I can legally buy, which looks exactly the same as the one the DHS will buy but is only semi-auto, is an "assault rifle"??? The full-auto military version is a "personal defense weapon" while the semi-automatic version is an "assault weapon". Somebody has something all bass ackwards.

All branches of government are stockpiling weapons and ammo in order to fight against the rebellion of the peasants. :coffee:

So people who aren't Republicans or Independents are registered Socialists?

You do realize the biggest socialist in America (Michael Bloomberg) is an Independent, right?

Is this Barry Soetoro you speak of a registered Socialist?

Actually yes he is.

In Dreams from my Father, he discuses his time studying political science at New York's Columbia University and reveals that he "went to socialist conferences at Cooper Union and African cultural fairs in Brooklyn

The communist party has supported Barry in all his elections since 2004

If he says he's a socialist and acts like a socialist why would you think he's not?

Looks like stockpiling 1.6 billion bullets in the last 10 months wasn't enough...

» DHS Purchases 21.6 Million More Rounds of Ammunition Alex Jones' Infowars: There's a war on for your mind!

The Department of Homeland Security is set to purchase a further 21.6 million rounds of ammunition to add to the 1.6 billion bullets it has already obtained over the course of the last 10 months alone, figures which have stoked concerns that the federal agency is preparing for civil unrest.

The solicitation asks for 10 million pistol cartridge .40 caliber 165 Grain, jacketed Hollow point bullets (100 quantities of 100,000 rounds) and 10 million 9mm 115 grain jacketed hollow point bullets (100 quantities of 100,000 rounds).

The document also lists a requirement for 1.6 million pistol cartridge 9mm ball bullets (40 quantities of 40,000 rounds).

An approximation of how many rounds of ammunition the DHS has now secured over the last 10 months stands at around 1.625 billion.

To put that in perspective, during the height of active battle operations in Iraq, US soldiers used 5.5 million rounds of ammunition a month. Extrapolating the figures, the DHS has purchased enough bullets over the last 10 months to wage a full scale war for almost 30 years.

They are going to need it if all the proposed furloughs occur. There will be rioting in the streets. Full blown mayhem. The Working Class will have available free time to march on the capital and demand the heads of their representatives. They think the WTO riots were something...ha.

I am only joking of course.
