Optometrist suggestions?

I'm looking for a new optometrist. I've used Target in the past, but, sadly, they don't accept our vision plan. Can anybody suggest a good one? Thanks.

If they take your insurance, Dr. McKimmie at Pearl Vision in California is great. Highly recommended.

Yes, but the reimbursement rate is much lower for "out of network" providers.
Ah as seeing I only use the Eye Doctor once a year or two years I tend to just eat the $4 out of pocket not thinking about it.

what is the rate they will pay? Or not pay?

Stay away from Sterling Optical! The Dr there should not be practicing. He had my prescription so messed up it wasn't funny. I ended up going somewhere else to have my eyes rechecked.

I use Dr. Heavner. He is with Target Optical. You can get your prescription from him but you don't have to purchase your glasses/contacts from Target...
