Dear Democrats,

Aren't you glad he didn't win and pave the road for 16 years of Republican presidents.

I've seen that same facial expression in a porno before.

I'm not surprised that this mornings Post has a much more reserved, serious picture of him making that speech.

"I'm about to burst a blood vessel!"

"Watch my Bobby Knight impression!"

"RACE FANS! HOT RODDERS! COME OUT TO BUDDS CREEK THIS SUNDAY! BE THERE! BEFORE I COUGH UP MY SPLEEN!"

I thought this was going to be a thread about Al Sharpton, who should also clam up.

Was All "Wooden Indian" Gore just playing dead all those years in office? When did he actually start displaying any emotion? I've rarely seen anyone that close to the Presidency ever get so disrespectful and rude - even mocking the President's Texas accent. The only one who comes close is Al Gore the LAST time he did this.

He's *always* been rude, insulting and disrespectful (*HEAVY SIGH*). But he always did it before in a detached, snobbish, faux intellectual manner. I'm wondering if we're seeing the 'real' Al, or yet another of his personality makeovers.

Here's hoping that Kerry supporters never figure out that you can't win the moderate voter by campaigning on hating Bush.

I'm not gonna say that Al Gore should shut up and disappear forever just because he lost the Electoral College last time around. Gore, whether conservatives and Republicans like it or not, has a deep sense of public service and feels passionately about issues facing our nation. He's even more passionate about his views than we who take time out of our schedule to post on a political forum in the rural Maryland. Was his speech over the top? Yes. Did he take his rhetoric too far? Yes. Did he let his passion take him over for awhile? Yes. Thing is that there are still many people in this nation who look to Gore as a leader, even if we here do not. So Al don't shut up, some people still want to hear you, but could you please stop shouting?

Yeah, what he said!!

"Nurse Ratchet, white courtesy phone ... Nurse Ratchet, white courtesy phone."

"The meds cup is on the way ... perhaps a bit too late. Al Gore, speaking of the abuses at Abu Ghraib and other prisons in a recent speech at New York University, stated, "Where do we go to get our good name back?"

The man who was Bill Clinton's VP for eight years didn't even snicker when he said this."

The really sad/amazing/ironic fact is, I think he believes in what he said!

Has he gone off the deep end?

With the reunification of Austin Powers and Dr Evil, there may be a need for a new arch villian:confused:

He is trying to remake himself and has fallen flat--so much for the core of the Democratic party and the "alpha-male."
Does he still have gravitase'?

 I can answer that one....although "gravitase" is not in my American College Dictionary, definition #1 offers "to move or tend to move under the influence of the force"; #2 describes "to tend towards the lowest level; sink."

Um, it's pretty accurate.

However, I don't think Al should shut up; I think if he keeps spouting off like this, he'll disenfranchise the entire Democratic base, and Kerry will be dead meat.

HMM...disenfranchised... Al should be familiar with that term.

This is really bad when Al Gore shows more spunk than the Democratic nominee:frown:
