Wanted to give props to Winslow Pump and Well of Hollywood.
We had no water Wednesday when we got up, which situation was diagnosed by a plumber that afternoon as the well pump having gone bad.
One of the bigger well companies assured our landlady they'd be out by 8:30 the next morning...by noon, she called a second company, who told her they had no one to send right away, but referred her to Winslow.
They had a fellow to the house by 1:30 PM. Instead of just going by what the plumber told her, he went through the system and found the pressure tank had a hole in it, which the plumber missed the day before.
By the time we were back at the house from our errands at 3:30, he had the system up and running again, for substantially less than she was previously told.
Nice to see an honest tradesman.
