this morning, as I was driving north on 301, a very sharp car passed me by. It was a very sleek Mercedes, black in color. Even in the thick fog, the driver was driving with recklessness. As the car stopped for the light at Pointer Ridge and 301, I made out the tag number. It was a vanity tag, "CYIPRAY".

Now, I will admit, I am not the most spiritual human, but something struck me about the shiney Mercedes, and the drivers antics being some gratification from the man upstairs for praying.

Does a person who prays and is a very safe driver in his Tercel being punished?

There's a reality show about a family of church goers in TN, I think the dad is a preacher. They're millionaires. In the only episode I've ever seen, the dad addressed the issue of family coming to him for money and he said "God helps those that help themselves."
