Bathtub Resurfacing?

We're considering resurfacing our bathtub and I'm looking for feedback (good and bad) from anyone who has ever done this before. I've read a little bit about PermaGlaze -- anyone ever used that? Something different? Also, do you know of any resurfacing companies that service Southern Maryland? TIA!

I too was wondering about companies that do it in southern maryland and havent found any.

My parents house had their bathtub done about 20 years ago now and it is still holding up quite well.

My cast iron powder blue tub needs to turn white in a bad way.

Gave up on the pink cast iron tub back years ago and went with an acrylic surround. Has held up well.

Okay, it's a year later and we still haven't had our tub resurfaced! We're looking into it again so I though I'd check, again, to see if anyone has recommendations and/or feedback for a company to use (or not). I've tried contacting http://bathrenovationhq.com/ but they don't respond to email. I'm going to check Angie's List too. Just looking for some "local" feedback if you have any. Thanks.

I used to resurface tubs as business. As in any business there are those that are bad at it and those that are good. I considered myself good at it. I did not do it in this area and know of no one that does. Don't try the DIY kits. Sorry I can't be more help.

We used the porcelain tub restorations co. last fall (Charles County). They showed on time and they did everything promised. It was close to $600.00, but 65 year old cast iron tubs and acrylic aren't quite the same. 301-262-6012

Thanks. This is actually the same company that I emailed and referenced in my original post. When I click on the link you provided and then go to their Home page, it redirects me "bathrenovationhq.com" (the link in my original post). I think I'll try calling them instead of email.
