How Stanley Kubrick Faked the Apollo Moon Landings

It has now been forty years since the fabled moon landings
by NASA and the Apollo gang. When it comes to the subject of the moon landings,
people tend to fall into two belief groups. The first group, by far the bigger
of the two groups, accepts the fact that NASA successfully landed on the moon
six times and that 12 human beings have actually walked on the surface of the
moon. The second group, though far smaller, is more vocal about their beliefs.
This group says that we never went to the moon and that the entire thing was
faked.

This essay presents a third position on this issue. This
third point of view falls somewhere between these two assertions. This third
position postulates that humans did go to the moon but what we saw on TV and in
photographs was completely faked.

Furthermore, this third position reveals that the great
filmmaker Stanley Kubrick is the genius who directed the hoaxed landings.

There are those that feel the moon landings were filmed in a sound studio in Hollywood. They are wrong.

It was filmed on Mars.

Surely you jest ...
I love space exploration and have read a number of astronaut biographies and other books on the subject. Mike Mullane's autobiography is particularly entertaining and educational.

The faked moon landing, sorry to say, is a crackpot conspiracy theory.

I never was very much into the space program myself, the headline stories still of course touch my life over the years. This is interesting. Thank you for sharing the link.

Tom Hanks never landed on the moon.

I'd venture to say you're right....

There is proof that man has been to the moon. The Apollo 11 lunar laser ranging retroreflector array. It's a reflector that reflects laser light back in the direction of the source. It's used by scientists and hobbyists. It's main purpose was to provide a reflector for lasers to accurately determine the distance from the earth to the moon. Round trip time is about 2.5 seconds. Kinda hard to intercept or imitate.

But...... if you search online, you will find entire websites just on this trying to disprove it.

Can anyone tell me who is credited as being the first to reflect a laser off of the lunar mirrors? I haven't had luck in finding a name and date. Thanks.

I have personally looked at the moon with a semi powerful telescope. Without much difficulty I was able to see the shadow of the flag planted there, an LRV, as well as its tracks in the regolith. There is more evidence available than just photographs and eyewitness accounts for truth seekers.

Everyone knows that when you have a secret to keep, having thousands of people know that secret for decades and never reveal it is always a reasonable expectation.
