Depends on where (and when) you live in Ethiopia. If it's the Great Rift Valley, it makes Death Valley look like Niagara Falls, and it's the hottest place on Earth.
If it's everywhere else, the majority of the country is wonderful tropical weather, where it's almost always room temperature. All day. All night.

And the rainy season is brutal.

But the other thing is, Ethiopia is the source of the Blue Nile. Its high elevation means, it is the source of most of the water that flows northward.
Ethiopia's water problems stem from distribution and sanitation - not whether or not is is there. They have plenty of water.
