Fishing report AAFB 4/21

Dropped the boat in the lake yesterday afternoon. Nice, warm day. Around 70 degrees. Tossed out some spinners and stickbaits. Spent around 2 1/2 hours on the water. Managed to get 8 fish in the net. Lost 4 more fish. A few fish hit the lures very deep. It's still early and this is my spring training. A rapala countdown accounted for half the fish. Nothing better than spending a few hours in the boat on the water with good conversation and a few fish mixed in.

Nice. Looks like this weekend will be very nice weather-wise.

I plan on taking the boat out on Sunday, so if I catch anything worth taking a picture of, I'll post it here.

Nothing worth taking a picture of, but 3 of us went out yesterday. Caught a bunch of largemouth (biggest was only about 2-3lbs) bluegill, and a few nice crappie.

Private lake, and yea, mostly Rooster Tails right now. Also had some luck with artifical and real worms.
