Marie Strumolo Burke, a Democrat who is running for mayor in Belleville, New Jersey, was allegedly caught on tape making some extremely racist remarks.
In the voicemail, left by the former chairman of Belleville’s planning board, Sam Papa, on the phone of Councilman Kevin Kennedy, a voice thought to be Burke’s can be heard in the background screaming the angry racist comment.

“This is terrible. This is terrible. This is gonna be a f—— n—– town,” Burke is allegedly heard yelling in the background, as Papa is heard discussing tax changes.
While Burke has denied that the voice on the tape was hers, a forensic test found that it is indeed her voice. As a result of the findings, the Belleville Town Council voted to request Burke’s censure from the Democratic National Committee.

Yea, I think taken in context the mayoral candidate is much worse. A public official, who with tax payer dollars influences decisions which effect all of his constituents lives, to a guy who owns a basketball team.

Are you justifying these comments by a candidate for a government office? Can you provide some sort of context that justifies what Burke said? Forget about the Clippers owner. Please tell us you condone what Burke said.

Another post from the councilman calls a federal judge an “--shole.”
Yet another post of Kennedy's displays a video of a Black Lives Matter protester being arrested on a highway and says "Harsh arrest? Get the F--- off the Road."
