Surveillance footage of DHS raid

A woman has claimed that she was forced to strip naked at gunpoint when Department of Homeland Security officials inexplicably raided her Florida home at dawn - and left with nothing.

'Armed men... demanded that I drop the towel I was covering my naked body with before snatching it off of me physically and throwing me to the ground,' she wrote.

Edwards, who said she had previously worked for the DHS but has been disabled since 2006, recognized some of the agents as working for the federal agency and asked them for ID.

'The agent pointed at his uniform that read POLICE and said "Isn't this ID enough for you?",' she wrote. 'When I told him I could buy that up in Miami he called me retarded and said I was f***ing stupid.

The warrant authorized the agents to search for computers and electronics - with the agents suggesting it was for child pornography - but Edwards said they did not seize any items.

At least the pussy cat survived. Had it been a dog it would have been shot a half dozen times before it had its throat slit.

This is what the War on Drugs creates. If you like this happening, be sure to support any and all candidates who support the continued War on Drugs. Which of course is most all of them.

I hope you people are happy with the outcome.

Well, this raid was for child pron, supposedly. A much easier thing to bandwagon the public.

She said it was "suggested" it was for Child porn. I can only conclude that the family and friends you used to invoke who were in law enforcement must have been so corrupt, that everytime you read a story about someone complaining about cops you believe it. This woman, who if she wanted to, could have posted the search warrant, but instead chooses to post some pictures and say the cops did bad things. Then you chime in with it is easier to get the public on the band wagon by saying child porn. Be a man. Say what you mean? Are you saying that you think the cops are lying about pornography to get into this person's house? Why is it you believe what this woman said without question? It doesn't strike you as odd she didn't post the search warrant? Eye candy.....bwaahhh.

The warrant (signed by Jonathan Goodman, a federal magistrate judge for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida) authorized them to take computers and electronics, but they took nothing. “They didn’t take any and didn’t even look at most of it,” she said. “We have a lot [of electronics] because my boyfriend fixes up broken computers to resell.”

As of right now, no agency has returned requests for information “I called the judge’s chambers today and the secretary said he or someone else would get back to me.”, so I'm not sure how much extra you'd like to get out of this right now.

I'm sure there are multiple reasons for DHS to raid a home for computers. We don't have that information yet, and I do not recall speculating on the reason for the warrant.

I can only conclude that the family and friends you used to invoke who were in law enforcement must have been so corrupt, that everytime you read a story about someone complaining about cops you believe it.
And by your same idiotic reasoning, you've got so many merits that you'll be receiving Presidential commendations based on your anonymous forum postings. Congratulations.

She could have posted the warrant, sure, but she also provided video of the incident, which you conveniently forgot to mention. Hopefully when more info comes out, this question will get answered.

Public support for the war on drugs is falling, and the story mentioned what it did. Considering DHS doesn;t do too many drug raids, no drugs were found, and the warrant supposedly mentioned seizing electronics, chances are it wasn't a drug raid.

Why would I think the cops are lying? They just do raids on the house they are told. They aren't the ones investigating, nor the ones going after rubberstamped warrants.

Who said I didn't have any questions?
I've got questions. Did the DHS Agents have reason to believe that someone in the house would react violently? Are he or she a known felon that has committed violent crimes in the past? Is there a reasonable explanation for such an entry? Why destroy the video cameras? Why have a camera pointed to a cabinet in the first place?

I agree with you on the eye candy part.

What does this even mean? You're the one who seems to think the cops are lying.

So is it you think the cops who are investigating are lying? Or is it someone who wrote the warrant? What is it you mean by rubber stamping the warrant? Are you saying the judge isn't evaluating the probable cause? Again, these people who were closest to you in law enforcement must be complete scum to have jaded you so much. I'm guessing D.C. cops.

Who said I didn't have any questions?

So this woman could have answered many of your questions by posting the warrant, but that would have provided us with both sides of the story. You choose to believe the cops did something wrong. Now, I admit I didn't watch all of the video. It's too long and I have other stuff to do. It appeared to me that there were people who went into a house. Did the video show something else?

I didn't know that DHS did SWAT raids for porn or for drug raids. Thought local and state and DEA for drug raids,LEO's did those. I could see DHS maybe getting involved had it been a terrorist type search warrant.
Not taking any side JMHO.

It sounded like there were representatives from all the possible law enforcement branches participating. I suspect they were all sitting around at the bowling alley, getting drunked up when one of the DHS guys bragged about this 'smokin' bitch' he used to date when she worked for the agency. He knows for a fact she's getting outa the shower every morning at about 6:15, and then. . . .

SAN DIEGO – Veterans were horrified while seeking VA health care on Wednesday when approached by Homeland Security police in an Operation Shield exercise. The exercise was for the purpose of “presence deterrence” at a VA health care facility in San Diego. Many veterans’ legal advocates are concerned about what this “presence deterrence” actually means and what it seeks to accomplish for veterans needing care.

According to reports, 20 officers from the DHS Federal Protective Service (FPS) dressed in full black combat gear crowded at the entrance of VA Mission Valley Health Care Clinic on Wednesday. These officers were not wearing any name tags and refused to identify themselves. Four bomb-sniffing dogs accompanied the secretive police group that arrived at the facility in 8 white SUVs marked “FPS”, which then blocked all access to parking for disabled veterans. Veterans arriving for care were alarmed and some frightened away.

Does this poster not have the right to assume the police are guilty the same as you have the right to assume they are innocent?

I like the part at about 17:20 where the armored cop comes out, gives the right hand up and down signal that it is safe, and the unarmored cops can now enter. Then all you see are the tactical's giving each other hand slaps all around, then to the regular cops for a mission well done.

See ya'll at Dunkin' Donuts!:yahoo:

Yes, he does have that right. I was asking why he believes that? There is a long history here and he has stated that he doens't dislike the police. If that's the case, why would he assume what you are suggesting? Further, he has stated that his family and friends are in law enforcement. If he has that negative feeling about law enforcement I wondered if it were because those people were so corrupt gthat is all he knows.

I'm not assuming the cops are innocent. I am pointing out that this is a one sided story, and the person who was the subject of the raid had the opportunity to present the other side by posting the warrant which would contain the police side of their probable cause to get into the house.

Believes what?

Jesus Christ, is this what you do? Throw around unfounded accusations because you don't like the content I post?

Show us all where I even remotely said what you claim. Show us all the quotes in this post that even allude to that notion.

Simply because I have friends and family in LE doesn't mean I cannot have an opinion about bad practices of officers. Should I automatically side with police because I know people that are? This is an idea you should think about before spouting off your ridiculous claims.

What "story" is this, exactly? As far as I'm concerned, a woman's house was raided by DHS, which we all saw (well, most of us anyway). I posed my questions in my last post. Hardly questions from someone believeing this woman 100%.

What if she had produced the warrant? Then what? Then would you quit harping on that point? I don't see you bitching about seeing the warrant in the case where the cops blew a hole in a child's chest with a flash bang then blamed it on someone else.
