Photoshop Help

My computer is in the shop and I'm using my son's and his doesn't have photoshop installed.
I have an clipart(ish) image that I need to remove the background color from. Could someone assist me?

Paint.net is a free program that has many of the features of photoshop. Download it and you can do what you need with it.

Microsoft Image Composer does background cutouts based on color and/or marking perimeters. It's free. Downloadable. An oldie but goodie I use all the time.
