KHAZER CAMP, Iraq (AP) — President Barack Obama justified the U.S. military's return to fighting in Iraq Saturday by saying America must act now to prevent genocide, protect its diplomats and provide humanitarian aid to refugees trapped by Islamic State militants on a mountain ridge near the Syrian border.
"This is going to be a long-term project" that won't end and can't succeed unless Iraqis form an inclusive government in Baghdad capable of keeping the country from breaking apart, Obama said at the White House.

The border is another way in for terrorists, but they would find their way here somehow, no matter what, even if the borders were sealed up tight as a drum. But, the current border situation certainly doesn't help, and adds to the anxiety of it all, for sure. IMO, the biggest border threat is the drug cartel/gang types, and the criminals that are skipping across. It is so sad about that border agent that was killed in front of his family by illegals last week. They didn't even know he was an agent. It was a random criminal act. Who should we be more scared of: the people coming across the border, or the Muslim extremists that want us dead? Answer: both.

We all have to accept that liberals are special. They don't believe in a level playing field. Their policies are built on lies, hypocrisy, and secrecy. That is a huge obstacle to try to circumvent. Oh, and that is why liberals on this forum have such childish replies. Their poster boy/girl are Reid and Pelosi selfies! :lol: Poor babies.

Here is a thread with 10 Posts that have nothing to do with the original post.

Band width wasted because people who would rather stir sh*t than comment on the post.

The post is about people who are trapped on a mountain without food or water. Trapped by a vicious political force that calls itself a religion, but is actually a power mad cult which intends to enslave or kill anyone in opposition to it. This one sect of this cult is now fighting to become the solitary power in that cult. They don't mind killing and beheading children , raping women, and hanging the heads of those killed on pikes to advertise their atrocities.

Now I don't have a specific link for this , it is news that is coming out of the middle east and being mostly ignored by our liberal press, because they have an election to win for their boy Obama, who has finally sent in some military aid, after he made the mistake of totally withdrawing the military that might have prevented it to begin with.

Some may disagree with my opinion, and that's fine. The point is Obama has called this a long time effort. In my opinion that effort may one day put our diminished forces right back where we were before we left. A diminished force that has no relief because it's numbers have been lowered to a dangerous point, so the same people must return time after time as they did before when people served 3 and 4 times on these tours.

Waiting for a unified Government in a country such as Iraq filled with tribes of people who only want to exterminate the other tribes is a pipe dream.
Not only is Iraq filled with these slaughtering tribal demons who find fun in murder and rape, the whole middle East is filled with them.

Our country cannot deal with them because we treat them as normal human beings expecting them to want peace.
Peace is the last thing they want , They enjoy the brutality.
Strong men who can control them with their own brutality such as Saddam and Assad we mistakenly removed or tried to remove and made matters worse.
At the least Saddam and Assad kept the brutality to a minimum, and allowed people of real religions to survive.
This bunch is a genocidal pack of madmen, killing for the love of it, and needs to be removed, and their own genocide is the only answer.

It is hard to say that killing must be stopped by killing, but that is the fact.
It is also the fact with Israel and Gaza. It will only stop when Hamas has been eliminated.
These people cannot be dealt with in Human term. They must be treated like the rabid dogs they are.
Yes that is the same way they think. Unfortunately it is the only answer.
