I went away on vacation in AZ once and missed paying my water bill for about 10 days. They cut it off after I had been paying regularly for several years. Pissed me off so much I went out and cut their lock and turned my water back on. Threw the lock away and went down and paid it the next day. All nice and innocent like.

I was a bit more hot headed and daring in those days, used to climb up the wire to the cable line om the pole and remove the filter to get NFL games we wanted to watch.
