Black Man Arrested in New York City For Hate Crime
In an unusual move Edward J. Fall, a black man was arrested for assaulting a white woman in an apparent hate crime. Fall shot the woman, who is not names, in the head with either a bb gun or a pellet gun. The woman said that after she was shot, she felt the back of her head and it was covered in blood. The attack occurred twelve days before on August 18th. The woman said she turned to the man and asked him what he had done to her. He responded with an expletive laced verbal attack including the phrase, “White people should die.”
