Similar experience. First cruise (for me) was our Honeymoon, and we upgraded to a Penthouse Suite, complete with private Butler, Concierge, first class "handling" Our own gangplank for first off the boat, and easy entry back on.. etc.. etc.. ALL the restaurants were supposed to be First come First serve with reservations being made the day of service after 2 PM (I think), we gave the concierge our list of all the restaurants we wanted to eat at for the entire 16 day trip and she made them all for us on the first day.. WE got SPOILED.. next cruise was just a huge disapointment. NOTHING can complare to being spoiled rotten.
