A question

I use Google Chrome. Over on the right side of the search box is a tiny microphone that say's search by voice.

If you click on it a box comes up asking if you wish to enable voice search.

The question is this if you enable that search have you enabled Google to listen in to you at any time they wish>? or do they have that ability anyway?

I have no microphone on my computer to my knowledge.

It's keyed on when you say OK Google.. it's in a standby/listen mode but doesn't capture what you are saying until it hears OK Google.. think "Good Morning Hal".. same same.
