On Friday, December 19, 2014 at approximately 12:00 p.m., a Sheriff’s Deputy in Calvert County got into a physical altercation with a subject while on a traffic stop.
The subject described as a light skinned black male fled the traffic stop in his vehicle into St. Mary’s County. Calvert County units chased the subject to a residence on Clearbrook Lane in California.
After arriving at Clearbrook Lane, the subject left a child in the vehicle and fled on foot into the residence. Police were able to safely remove the child from the vehicle.
At this time multiple units are responding to the residence. Maryland State Police Helicopter Trooper 7 is responding to assist.
