Cost of Bladder Stone Surgery for Cat??

My female cat needs to have surgery to remove bladder stones - hooray. I was wondering whether anyone's cat has had this surgery done recently and locally and can give me some realistic idea of what the cost might be. I was so stressed while at the vet earlier today that I forgot to ask - so will call them again on Monday, but was hoping for some info before then.
