The Zombie Virus is about a worldwide pandemic that erupts overnight across the globe, completely overwhelming any possible response. The virus, an ancient piece of genetic code hidden within our own genome, causes a debilitating illness of the human brain. It infects without killing and those who contract the disease awaken in a savage, blood-thirsty state.
The story centers around Steven McQuinn, a scientist who works for the U.S. Army's Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases, and his fight to identify the pathogen and its origin. Forced to abandon the lab as the infection rages within it confines, he races home to be with his family, and find a safe haven from the hordes of maniacal killers that run the streets. But the Pandora's Box has been opened and there is no putting what has escaped back into it. No place is safe from the horror that is The Zombie Virus.
