Do you think the price would be this high if this was summer and not winter? I imagine the price of kerosene goes up in the winter while the cost of gas goes down.
With Kerosene you are still paying the price for fuel that was refined 4 months ago. Same reason premium gas does not drop in price as fast as regular, there is just not that fast of a turn over rate.
