Who do you suppose has/had it worse coming to work every day as #2 and dealing with who was #1; Biden or Cheney? Either would, clearly, have been better for the nation and they both know it so, you suck it up and just ponder about the odds of aneurism or something...
Vice President Joe Biden told Democrats that, "To state the obvious, the past six years have been really, really hard for this country. And they've been really tough for our party. Just ask [former DCCC chair] Steve [Israel]. They've been really tough for our party. And together we made some really, really tough decisions -- decisions that weren't at all popular, hard to explain," said Biden.
I read this and all I could think of was John Wayne's statement, "Life is hard. It's harder when you're stupid."
