An Iraqi father reportedly went on a shooting rampage against the Islamic State last weekend in response to his son being executed by the militant group.
The Mirror reports that Ahmed Ramadan, 18, was murdered along with seven other young men more than a month ago over accusations they were conspiring with Iraqi security forces.
These men may have been the undercover Iraqi police officers and were shown being shot in the head in a video released by the Islamic State last month.
Basil Ramadan sought revenge for his son on Sunday in Tikrit, one of the first Iraqi cities to be taken over by the group.
Ramadan, said to be in his 60s, went to a checkpoint armed with an AK-47 and opened fire, according to the Mirror.
He reportedly killed seven militants before being shot dead.
