Not to be a downer, but seems to me having kids run into the street to get candy is a potentially dangerous situation.

It's a parade. People are walking in the street. It's not 235. It's because of people like you that candy can no longer be thrown to the crowd during the Veteran's Day parade in Leonardtown.

I stand by my statement. The candy was being thrown from vehicles and the kids were running out. A slip could be nasty.
