Things sure have changed over the years. Not a whole lot of yelling going on. I like to think this video accurately portrays today's boot camp experience. I couldn't imagine getting shaving tips in San Diego decades ago. Ditching the boon dockers for sneakers was a brilliant move. We had lots of blisters from marching in hard boots running between classes, the chow hall and the barracks.

I'm glad I went in when I did. Times sure have changed.

The screaming and yelling started in the airport, and everyone was a "sir" or "ma'am," though we rarely saw any females. The few we did see were civilian admin.
