Anyone have any information about the carbon dust/soot like substance that is falling in western Charles county. Indian Head and Bryans Road area.

Al Gore is trying to snuff Indian Head off the map and then he is going to blame Bush and call it global warming...someone is probably burning trash somewhere...

I drove from DC to home last night around 11pm. I could smell smoke in the air the entire trip.
The weather station has been talking a lot about Canadian fires that are spreading their smoke plume all the way to the east coast from the west coast. Maybe?

when the great dismal swamp was burning in Tidewater some yrs ago I could smell the smoke on a damp day in Bowie
