Has anyone noticed the thermometer on the digital board at Cecil Mill Self Storage (across from Sheetz) is 8-12 degrees higher then the actually temperature? Its kinda annoying IMO

Yeah, it read 104 around two this afternoon...no way.

Maybe it's mounted to the side of a metal building that is un-shaded?

I do feel like if you have a public display of information like the time or temperature that you should make an effort to see that it is accurate.

I missed a train in Luzern Switzerland because a large clock in the square had the wrong time. A damn OMEGA branded giant clock, in SWITZERLAND, was off by almost an hour.

I think the sensor is inside the sign itself, and it's mostly dark metal.
