My daughter would like to learn to sew. Is there somewhere that offers classes? Friends from other states suggested 4H but I don't know where to look for that.

The sewing machine store/ vacuum cleaner repair store on great mills used to have classes. They may still.

I know this is years too late to reply to this post but I am opening up a sewing school for kids using the KIDSCANSEW.com curriculum. I am calling it The St. Mary's Sewing School and will be held in my home off Chancellors Run Rd. Right now registration is open. Spring classes are 1x/wk on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. Classes max out at 4. More info can be found on my blog site: craigly.com/saintsunderconstruction
classes are for ages 3 on up. (3-7 year olds must be accompanied by their parent or guardian) Adult beginner classes also available.
