Directions to Verizon Center

I am driving from La Plata to the Verizon Center and back on Saturday night. I looked up the directions, but not sure which are the safest. How would you go? Thanks

Do you have a parking pass? for a event/concert? where is the parking pass if so

Drive to Branch Ave. Metro...get on Green Line...get off at Gallery Place...you are at Verizon Center.

The entrance to the parking garage is 778 8th St NW.

First let me say that I can get lost in a paper bag, so anytime I travel out of my home area, I need to have SIMPLE directions, so here are the directions I use, when I go to the Caps games, I'm not saying they're the best, but they work for me, and I feel safer driving then getting off at the Metro late at night. I go straight up Branch Ave, turn right onto Pa Ave, go straight to 6th street, make a right and go up to F and there's the Verizon Center. Hope this helps you out.
