I've used them. VERY successfully. Here is their business info: http://mdinspectionconnection.com/home/lead-paint-testing/Anybody ever deal with Inspection Connection here locally?
Good, bad?
Never knew of a requirement for these inspections for a VA streamlined refinance, only for an original purchase. When did it become a requirement for a well and septic inspection for a VA refinance? Matter of fact, I just checked... there is no requirement for a well and septic inspection for a VA refinance. Make sure you aren't spending money when you don't have to, there are those that will try to take advantage. If the lender is trying force it, find a new lender.Refinancing the house with a VA loan.

The owner is Denise Canter, who also owns Smokey Joe's. Go grab some lunch, then talk to her about whatever you need. Tell her I sent you.
Well that explains it. Thought I missed the memo on an update. The original loan was not a VA loan.
