Two armed robberies of stores in two days in Sin City

LEXINGTON PARK, MD. – Two days, two armed robberies and in neither robbery did St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron release video or photos from the robberies or provide a description of the suspect. A description of an armed robber or photo is typically used to help solicit leads and tips from the public and capture a criminal.

These latest robberies took place after an armed robbery of the Family Dollar across the street from the Papa Johns. Sheriff Cameron established a special team of deputies two years ago to escort hookers and hobos off the streets in Lexington Park to the Hotel St. Mary’s

All they really need to do, is say white, light, or dark complexion. With all the foot traffic in the Park, odds of a positive ID are something like 1000:1. Build it, and they will come.

"The suspect was described as a light skinned black male approximately 6 foot tall with a slim build, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans." - Looks like a description to me!

Clicked on the link and oh my god what an awful website! Absolute trash!

It's a fashion that all up and coming thugs have adopted. Easy way to identify the untrustworthy.

Tell me isn't so, I thought the Hoodie was a garment of such innocence that anyone wearing it is incapable of commiting even rudeness, let alone violent crime.

That's only if they wear it while eating skittles and drinking tea.

Urban camo helps you blend into the shadows.

Did they actually put that statement in the story? It's irrelevant unless they see hobos and hookers running around armed and robbing people.

Well, I think that site is actual whats left of the old St Marys Today, so yeah, that line is in the "report". Well, the "reporter" could be going for an allocation of resources argument, saying that more deputies not dedicated to the COPS unit might be of use in deterring or catching criminals like these vice escorting unsavories off of Milllisons property. Odd, while I can't say if I subscribe to that argument, I will note that it appears the amount of reports of the COPS unit escorting/arresting trespassers from St Marys Square has dropped off considerably since they hired a roving security patrol. While there are still regular reports of this happening at Millison Plaza........
