Comedy legend Mel Brooks has confirmed in a recent appearance on Adam Carolla’s "Take a Knee" podcast that a sequel to his 1987’s sci-fi comedy classic Spaceballs is in the early phases of development — and he wants some of the original cast back for the revival. Brooks said the project is tentatively titled Spaceballs: The Search for More Money, and he hopes to potentially start filming in early 2016, after the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in December.
