    On Monday, September 26, 2016, 9:46 AM the suspect reached over the counter of the Charlotte Hall Wawa store and stole a pack of Marlboro Menthol Cigarettes and then fled in a burgundy Mercury Mountaineer SUV with unknown tags. The Wawa store is located at 30320 Three Notch Road in Charlotte Hall, MD.

    Update: SMCSO Criminal Investigations Division Investigating Home Invasion Burglary

    Update: Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are continuing their investigation into a home invasion burglary which occurred on Sunday October 2, in California Maryland. They are asking citizens to please view the following composite sketch of the suspect, created with the assistance of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.

    The suspect is described as a dark skinned (possibly Hispanic) male in his 20’s, approximately 5’5” to 5’7” with a slim build and short dark hair. Additionally, the suspect may have utilized a bicycle to flee the scene.

    Original Release: SMCSO Criminal Investigations Division Investigating Home Invasion Burglary


    On Sun., Oct. 2, 2016, at approximately 2:45 AM deputies responded to a private residence near Old Rolling Road in California, Maryland, for a reported home invasion burglary. Initial investigation revealed an adult female victim was awoken in the middle of the night and assaulted by an unknown male intruder. A prolonged struggle with the suspect occurred inside the residence during which the suspect produced a weapon. The victim fled the residence along with her juvenile child and contacted 911.

    On Wednesday, September 13, 2016, a victim reported that her wallet was missing and that she last had it at 2 p.m.while in the Popeye’s Restaurant at 21729 Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, Maryland. At 2:58 p.m., the same day, the suspects used one of the victim’s credit cards to make a purchase at the Target store located at 45155 First Colony Blvd in California, Maryland. At 3:15 PM the suspects used one of the stolen credit cards at the Walmart located at 45485 Miramar Way, California Maryland.

    CRIME SOLVERS OFFERING CASH REWARD FOR SUSPECT’S IDENTITY AND ARREST: Detectives with the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division are seeking to identify a suspect wanted in connection with an assault that occurred last month.     On October 8, at about 4:22 p.m., officers responded to the parking lot of St. Charles Town Center for the report of an altercation in which someone was stabbed. The initial investigation revealed the victim and a friend were walking through the mall when they made eye contact with two females. The suspect (shown in the sketch) was with the females at the time. The suspect approached the victim and confronted him about looking at the females. The victim and the suspect subsequently became involved in a fight during which the victim was stabbed. The suspect fled and the victim was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.

    The suspect is described as being in his late teens to early twenties, about 5’8”, with a medium build. Anyone with information should contact Detective J.     On Sunday, August 28, 2016, at 11:10 AM, the suspect picked up the victim’s wallet from where he had left it on the checkout counter in the California, Maryland Walmart, located at 45485 Miramar Way. The suspect was seen picking up the wallet at the register and leaving her cart with another woman before walking out of the store with the wallet in her hand. Upon returning minutes later, the suspect re-entered the store empty handed.
