High School International Trips?

Back in the day, my high school often had various foreign language clubs take trips to the country they were studying. Do the schools in St. Mary's County do that? We homeschool our daughter, who very much wants to travel. She is learning Japanese and would love to go there, but I don't think any schools teach Japanese here.

Does anyone know of any upcoming trips that she might be able to go on? I went to Italy with my Latin club many years ago, and we took other people to fill up the quota needed who were not in our club. Most were adults.

Just curious if there are any trips that we/she could get in on. Thanks!

Frederick Douglass High School in Upper Marlboro used to take a trip to Japan every summer. I would imagine, if they're still doing it, that all the seats are full for this year and the arrangements made.
