The Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a burglary suspect. On Friday, April 1, 2016, at approximately 2:40 a.m., deputies from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office responded to Accurate Guns and Ammo, located at 28650 Point Lookout Road, in Loveville, for the report of an alarm activation.

The Sheriff's Office obtained surveillance footage which shows a light color vehicle entering the parking lot, backing up to the front entrance of the business, and then forcing entry by shattering the front door. Although the suspect appears to be interested in stealing firearms, he exits the store without taking any items.

Can you help the SMCSO identify the suspect?

The suspect is a male wearing a black facemask, gray sweatshirt with a red or orange shirt underneath, and black pants. The car used in the burglary is possibly a 2011-2014, white, four-door, Toyota sedan with a sunroof.
