Yea, so far right that we got gay marriage legal across the country, states are increasingly legalizing marijuana, and the self avowed "socialist" (he calls himself that, BTW) made it this far.

I quit bothering to pay attention when everyone unlearned the definition of "liberalism". This is by and large due to public education, which is all conditioning. This leads to a supplicant public being (mis)lead by media. Definitions do change over time. Poly Sci 101. Definitions of words and concepts are purposely changed over time. There is an entire science behind it, neurolinguistic programming, native advertising. This is long ball. These changes can take generations. You can make a really good living doing this too -- dicking around with "public opinion" and political sea change. If one is so inclined, one should seek out that radio talk show dude Mark Levin's stuff he's done on all these organizations based in Alexandria VA alone that engage in this sort of activity. These are all left-leaning organizations. By that I mean both Democrat and Republican, as both parties are decidedly left of center. Some might say "bipartisan", but make no mistake, they are all leftist, some more so than others.
Black, white; wet, dry; up, down; left, right; yankees, redsox; etc.
This is as complex a world as most people think exist and you're an easy sell.
