"Republican nominee Donald Trump has made it clear: He wants the African-American vote.
It is a wild and woefully ridiculous idea.
This past weekend, Trump spoke in Fredericksburg, Virginia, a predominantly white community. That rally was on the heels of two other recent speeches in communities with similar demographics: Dimondale, Michigan and La Crosse, Wisconsin. In all three, he tried to argue that the Democrats have "failed and betrayed" African-Americans, asking for their vote because "what do you have to lose?"
Despite his newfound remorse for having alienated so many minority and immigrant communities, I wonder if Trump can answer some basic questions:"
