If Hillary Was Ever Honest

She doesn't have the ability to tell the truth. In fact, she almost admitted it on TV when specifically asked about it.

I trust her to do what's right. She won't let us down this time. I'm looking forward to her campaign.

I expect to see her look us in the eye during the debate.

No.... I'm not kidding....

Why is it that Trump gets a pass on his behavior? The man is a pig. He treats people as if he is better than they are. "Where's my black man?" "She was bleeding" "Duh, I don't remember" and now the best of all "he doesn't know it yet, but Mexico is going to pay". He's a pig and I just simply cannot see him as President.

Quite frankly, Donald Trump killed Atlantic City. Have you been there? Last time I was there the boardwalk was a mess. One block off the boardwalk is abject poverty. If Trump hired all those people and paid them for what they did, you would see homes somewhere.... but there aren't any.... just homeless and beggers..... Trump makes his money preying on alcoholics and those addicted to gambling. When he builds his fine buildings he pays the contractors as little as he can to string them along and as soon as he can he declares bankruptcy, leaving small business holding the bag. He destroys small businesses. He preys on the elderly. I read about Trump University. The man's a pig. He knows more than the Generals about ISIS???? Come on.... a lot of you are military.... are you going to buy that?

Hillary has faults but they wouldn't be so blatant if she hadn't spent all these years in public service. I've been on these forums for years. If you go back and look at ResidentofCRE you'll see the crap people brought up when I ran for the lowly office of commissioner. It's part of public life.... you can't please everyone.... and with stakes this high [to use a gambling term] they would dig even deeper. Hillary Clinton has worked to keep children safe her whole life. Even when I'm sure she would have loved to plug Bill Clinton in the nuts and leave, she stuck in the marriage. Marriage is supposed to be a lifetime commitment and quite frankly that showed guts! IMHO

I think all politicians are crooks. Look at the backroom deals the county commissioners make. But once you sort it out.... Hillary is well respected by leaders here in the USA and around the world while Trump is [IMHO] a clown pig that other countries are laughing at.... or a Putin pawn.... and neither is good for the USA.

He can't even build his wall..... it won't physically work.....A lot of the land the wall would have to cross is owned by ranchers.... the feds would be in court for years pleading "eminent domain".... I've seen some of the topography.... no one can afford it.... I'm not even going to go into NAFTA which he was going to destroy and now it's going to work???!!!!

No I'm not kidding.... it's either Hillary or the lesser known Green Party.

Hillary is easily the most corrupt and dishonest person to ever run for president in my lifetime. Period.

She's the most proven. She's better than Nixon was.... and she won't do as much damage as Trump who thinks he can fire the President of another country.

Trump is a loose cannon.... we may be able to get along with a loose cannon at the county commissioner level.... but we can't afford it at the federal level.

Quite frankly, Donald Trump killed Atlantic City. Have you been there?

Actually lived there briefly. Ok, Ocean City NJ. Same area. My BIL was a developer there. Made a tidy sum in the early 80's when Atlantic City was growing.

He did not kill it.

For one thing, Atlantic City was in decline for decades. Lots of things contributed to it. Bear in mind, it wasn't a mecca for gamblers - legally - until the 70's.
Prior to that, it was just a destination for entertainment. What killed it was competition in the 50's, 60's and 70's, and later lost out to legalized gambling elsewhere.

It's ridiculous to think one man ruined a city because of a few establishments.

Frankly, a man's personality doesn't do anything for me as to my vote. I have no doubt that Bill Clinton or Joe Biden would be friendly people to be with - but it's what they do and accomplish that matters.

I know we've somehow arrived at this idea of what is "presidential" - an idea that really hasn't played much into elections in adult life. It's really just a way to take a shot at Trump's well known abrasive - and practiced - public image. I don't care much for it as an idea because we've had leaders who smile but curse you behind your back. It's well known that the Clintons and Obamas do not like each other - but they present this wonderful appearance of friendship in public. I'd rather someone just be candid about it, even if it's ugly.

Generally, I've noticed THIS pattern, which works in politics and in your workplace - you want the friendliest, most understanding boss immediately above you. Your supervisor. The one who deals with you directly. But you absolutely want a son of a bitch at the top - the one who's going to fight for you. The company president. The division chief. Because his job isn't to be nice to you. His job is ultimately to protect you.

I agree... well not about Atlantic City.... but with having someone who's going to fight for you.

Let me add this.... I thought the Republican Party was the one the Evangelical Christians support. Most of them wouldn't choose a divorced man to be their deacon.... and they are ok with this foul mouthed man who has been divorced? One more thing.... are they ok with the new inclusion of the platform that includes the new "Q" part?

She's the most proven. :

eh..what?? "Proven" at what, exactly? During her tenure at State, she created and left behind an unbroken string of utter failures and complete disasters.

The only thing she excelled at was finding ways to pull hundreds of millions of dollars in to her foundation.

Exactly. It was a complete dump before he got there (I used to attend conferences there before gambling was legalized) and outside of the casino areas, remained a complete dump. It's still a dump. The decline of gambling revenues had more to do with subsequent proliferation of places throughout the country that legalized gambling than anything else. When gambling first came to Atlantic City, it was a rare and novel thing. Back in the early 90s, we worked with two different companies that were setting up high-speed ferry service from NYC and Boston to Atlantic City and Foxwoods. But the blush was off that rose years ago now.

And the idea was that allowing gambling would rejuvenate the city..... Trump said he made money off of declaring bankruptcies in Atlantic City..... how did that affect small business?

It's easy to say she left behind utter failures.... so what did she fail at in the senate? The majority voted to go into the middle east.... because the Republican President was declaring there were weapons of mass destruction. Was it worse than Bush standing on an aircraft carrier declaring the war over? Was it worse than when we pulled out of Vietnam? She did Benghazi... that's on her.... but what experience does Trump offer us... the beauty pageants or how to do a bankruptcy or how to prey on the alcoholics, gambling addicts, and elderly?
