The following statement was released by the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s OfficeDeputies are currently on the scene at Spring Ridge Middle School investigating a minor assault.
The preliminary investigation has revealed a juvenile student stabbed another student on the hand with scissors causing minor lacerations.
