Yes. 7:40pm. I'm heading over to Solomons to watch.
It went out of sight at about 40 degreesWas it low in the sky? I was outside but didn't see it. I am surrounded by tall trees so I'm wondering if they blocked my view. Disappointed.
we parked at the top of the hill by the biological lab's visitor center. sat under the willow tree.I've seen more spectacular launches (not talking about the big boom...) but it was fun nonetheless. Other launches head more northward, so they track higher in the sky. This one was headed over Bermuda, so it got small fast.
Better crowd than usual too. So many times people arrive at the last second with headlights blaring, in more of a party mood. People tonight really seemed interested in the science of it all.

I was able to see it up 1st stage separation then picked it back up a few minutes afterwards.
