Frustrated With Media Bias, Trump Campaign Takes Its Case Directly To Voters With Nightly Show On Facebook

On Monday night, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump announced an unprecedented social media blitz to connect his campaign directly with voters and no longer rely on the media he has denounced for their bias against him.

Every night beginning Monday, Trump campaign advisers Boris Epshteyn and Cliff Sims are co-hosting a live show on Trump’s Facebook page.

The show will close with “Final Thoughts,” an opinion segment from conservative pundit Tomi Lahren.

The show, which begins at 6:30 p.m. ET, segues into live coverage of campaign rallies beginning at 7 p.m. Trump has rallies planned for almost every night between Monday and the Nov. 8 election.

The 6:30 p.m. start time for the nightly show is also the same time as the network news shows.

IMO most everyone who is going to vote has picked their candidate and the next few days won't make much difference.
Strange though I have been seeing a lot of Hillary campaign ads lately and not one of them, Not One, has stated her platform.

Every ad is a negative one.

I admire Trump's energy. He is constantly campaigning: rallies, tweets, interviews, speeches. By contrast, Hillary does one event and then disappears for a week or more to recover. How is her lack of stamina going to work out when she's president? When you look at the physical toll it takes on past presidents, hell, she'll be dead by the end of her first term. Then we'll have screwball Kaine.

TJ says Hillary's so far ahead that there's no need for her to campaign. If TJ said it, it must be true. :coffee:

You and I and most of the people voting for her know that Bill is her back up.
He doesn't look all that well either, but without him she wouldn't be where she is today.

Not sure her silence and staying out of the spotlight is because of her health.
Until recently when Trump started keeping his mouth a little more under control she was letting him kill himself.
And he did a good job of it. Many of HER commercials feature Donald running off at the mouth.
If Hillary goes down it will be hidden and Bubba will be in actual control.
They will dope her up and stand her around while he runs things.

No way will they allow an idiot like Kaine to take control.
If she is dead they will stuff her and it will be Weekend at Bernies.

It won't be Bill Clinton. His day is done. But she will be a puppet president like we're some Latin American #### hole.

Which energy would that be?

He shut down his fundraising a week ago.

He has completely abandoned Republican Senate, House and state candidates.

He is in DC today to open a hotel....NOT on the campaign trail trying to win.

He is forced to spend his time defending historically Republican states because he has no ground game in those states.

Essentially...yes...how does Trump get to 270???

Ms. Clinton is out campaigning for Senators and House members now. She has top quality surrogates all over the map.

Trump and himself and his VP....no one else is campaigning for them...or haven't you noticed that?

Who told you to say that? You need to find a new mentor because whoever you have now sucks.

"He shut down his fundraising"? Are you serious? That's what they told you to say? Or are you off script and trying to go it alone?

"Donald Trump sucks because he stopped fundraising."

"He sucks because he's opening a hotel."

Those are seriously pathetic attempts. :loser:

The Government Village

I don't think this is what the Africans meant when the phrase, "it takes a village" was coined.
