Additional Information: An occupant of the house woke up after detecting the odor of smoke. Upon investigating the source of the smoke, smoldering debris was discovered at the front door. Upon further looking around, additional small fires were found around the exterior of the house. An investigation was initiated by the St Mary's County Sheriff's Office and the Office of the State Fire Marshal, which is continuing.
