All of the vehicles came to rest throughout all travel lanes of southbound Route 5. Vehicle 1 came to rest on the right shoulder of southbound Route 5. We got caught in the backup shortly after it happened, ended up getting off at Woodyard and going to Arby's. The traffic on Woodyard was unbelievably crowded, especially at the lunch time. By the time we were leaving, they were taking cars off SB RT5 by the onramp from Woodyard.

How do the words pretty and ugly go together? Just wondering. Prayers to all involved.

Pretty: adverb informal
1. to a moderately high degree; fairly. "he looked pretty fit for his age"
synonyms: quite, rather, somewhat, fairly, reasonably, comparatively, relatively "a pretty large sum"

I grew up in New England where the usage is part of the common dialect.

Thanks for the definition.

Very Ugly?

Wicked Ugly?

Do you like either of those better?

Yes. I have always had an aversion to 'pretty' being used as an adjective when seeming out of context. Sorry.
